Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Spirit at Sarvodaya School
Sarvodaya English Higher Secondary School, Lakhnadon celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2026 with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The celebration brought together students, teachers, parents, and members of the school community to commemorate the nation's independence.
Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony at 7:30 AM, led by Dr. Mangal Vishwakarma. The unfurling of the National Flag was followed by a sense of pride and patriotism among everyone present.
Morning March and Cultural Programmes
Following the flag hoisting, students participated in a morning march at 8:00 AM, creating a vibrant patriotic atmosphere across the school campus.
The celebration continued with colourful cultural programmes presented by students. Young learners from Nursery, KGI and KGII showcased their performances from 8:00 AM onwards, followed by students from Classes 1st to 12th from 9:00 AM onwards.
The performances reflected the students' talent, creativity, confidence, and love for the nation. The celebration also provided students with an opportunity to understand and express the values of freedom, unity, and patriotism.

The Independence Day celebration concluded as a memorable occasion filled with patriotic spirit, cultural vibrancy, and a strong sense of national pride. The school community came together to honour the sacrifices of the nation's freedom fighters and celebrate the spirit of India's independence.
